Aim One

I am usually a pretty reasonable shopper. I find the cheapest of everything and a lot of times I do not even care what the brand is on items. There are a few things that I just cannot be cheap with and I am wondering what other people treat themselves to.

I always buy Secret Platinum deodorant because it works really well. The only problem is that usually it costs $3.50 for a stick of the gel. That is really expensive when you can get a regular solid stick for about a dollar.

I buy Cottonelle toilet paper which is the best stuff on the market in my opinion. I hate using Scott or any of that really cheap stuff.

These are just the things that I can think of offhand that I actually spend the premium prices to get the premium products.

I always like to look at the local paper to see what kinds of small business opportunities are available in my area. I have found a couple of businesses that I thought may do well if they had new ownership, but I was not sure enough to throw down that kind of money on a business. I need to learn to take a few more risks because small businesses are always a risk.

I would love to get my hands on a unlocked phone so that I can put it on any carrier that I want. I hate that some phones are specific to certain phone companies. I like to make sure that I am getting the best deals on my phone bills as well as the phones themselves. I want to get an iPhone one day but I do not want to use the AT&T service!

I really enjoy shopping for expecting mothers. My friends are always excited when they are having kids because they know that I am going to get them something that is probably a bit expensive and nice for their babies. I was looking at strollers online just yesterday. I do not even have anyone to buy for currently, but I know that if I find a good deal on a stroller that I love I can save it for the next time that someone gets pregnant.

My mother in law has a pair of Dansko shoes that she just swears by. She says that Dansko makes really great shoes and she wants me to get her another pair for Christmas this year. I started shopping online to find a really good deal on the shoes that she wants. I love it when people tell me what they want so that I can get it for them without wondering if they will like it or not.

I decided instead of finding something nice for my extended family this year that I am just going to make a ton of Christmas cookies for everyone. I would rather do that because I never know what to get these folks for Christmas anyways, and who does not like cookies, right? I will put them in nice little tins with ribbons on them so they will look really pretty.

I know that I am paying a high premium for my car insurance. I decided to shop around online and get various auto insurance quotes to see about getting the cheapest car insurance that I can find. I have not had any accidents in a couple of years and I always wear my seat belt so it should be easy to find cheaper insurance.

I never knew that there were so many choices when it comes to buying kitchen sinks. I went shopping online yesterday to find a new kitchen sink and there are so many different kinds and styles that I am unsure what kind would be the best for me. I would like one that is sort of like the one that I have now but easier to clean.

I have never really understood why people have such a hard time losing weight. I read all the time that they are coming up with new weight loss pills and I did not really understand it. That was before, now I know because I have this new friend that is overweight and she was telling me how hard it really is to quit eating. She told me that it is like trying to quit smoking and I know how hard that is.

I saw some of those moving pods when I was in Florida a couple of years ago and I thought it was an amazing idea. I would rather rent a pod to move than an entire truck because then I would not be on such a time table. I hate having to hurry to move so that I only keep the moving truck for a day. I would rather put it in a pod and then unload it at my leisure.
